The program that Calvary Academy has used for many years to communicate game schedules is no longer available. We are developing a new system and adding those schedules as quickly as possible. 

Sports Physical

All students who wish to participate in any sport must have an updated physical turned in to the school office BEFORE participating in any practices or games.  Reminder: Physicals are valid for 395 days.  If you are unsure if your student requires an updated physical, please contact the Academy Office.

Athletic Agreement Signature Form

All parents and students must review the Student-Parent Athletic Handbook.

The Athletic Agreement Signature Form shown below must be completed by the first practice of the sport in which your student wants to participate.  An agreement need only be signed once per year even if students participate in multiple sports.

Athletic Participation Fee

A $50 athletic fee will be required to participate.  This fee will be due before the first game of the sport in which your student wants to participate.  This fee is assessed per student, per sport for the first two sports he/she participates in annually ($100 maximum per year).  If a student participates in three or more sports annually, no additional fees are required.  If a student is participating in a co-op sport that is not hosted by Calvary Academy and the host school is charging an athletic fee, the student will instead be required to pay the fees as stipulated by the host school.  Fees paid to other host schools are not included in the annual $100 maximum fees to Calvary Academy.  Fees are collected by the team coach or may be brought to the Academy Office.

Communication

Coaches will use GroupMe or GameChanger apps to communicate announcements and important information.  We will use your cell phone numbers that are listed on FACTS to add you to the group.  Please make sure that information is updated on FACTS, and make sure to download the app.  Having your child participate in a sport always requires a certain degree of flexibility.  GroupMe/GroupChanger will be an important tool for the coaches to communicate changes or updates with you.

Practices

It’s extremely important for parents to make sure their child gets picked up on time after practice or a game.  Since we all share one gym, it will take a great deal of cooperation to allow all teams proper access.  Please help us out by making sure your child is picked up on time! 

JH Baseball
